It's funny because I lament all the time that there isn't a beep letting me know when my bobbin's empty, though I could imagine how annoying it would get if it decides it's "almost" empty...CitricSugarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580076318545974487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7236572717340333974.post-8181375316322396182013-03-19T10:48:14.434-05:002013-03-19T10:48:14.434-05:00HI,

I bought mine solely based on the fact that I had a Pfaff before and loved it. I was disappointed at first because I had some of the same issues with my machine when FMQ, thread breaking etc until I emailed someone else has one. She passed on some really helpful tips and I have been having great luck now. The biggest thing that helped me was lowering my pivot height to -3 when I FMQ. I use sharps for my needles and they are the ticket. She messes with her tension but I don't seem to need to. It's picky so clean it out often. I use Superior Sew Fine or Aurifil thread. I am enjoying my quilting now!PegDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04548519645437895320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7236572717340333974.post-85508152330979709012013-03-18T08:30:40.475-05:002013-03-18T08:30:40.475-05:00Very nice post....I love the idea of the automatic...Very nice post....I love the idea of the automatic thread cutter. I used one of those pfaffs at a few courses and it was a great machine, but i too had a few issues with the beeping bobbin and the fmq breaking threads, I have to say my older non computerised pfaff is pretty good at FMQ except every so often, she gets grumpy with how the threads wound! I tried to reply to your comment on my blog, and it says you're a no reply blogger! :o). heart of charnwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15116451696114213348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7236572717340333974.post-64039123073948744402013-03-17T11:43:54.316-05:002013-03-17T11:43:54.316-05:00Hey girl!

What an awesome machine!
My old Brother is a front-load bobbin, and I have to admit, it can be downright finicky. I think I've finally gotten the hang of it after all of these years...lol.
Thank you so much for joining in the hop - and if you get a sec, could you link up with Stacey's link-up? not necessary, but if you have the time, I'd love ya for it!
See you today?
Erin✄ Erin @ Sew at Home Mummy ✄https://www.blogger.com/profile/07334772137272982148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7236572717340333974.post-47189974078409412252013-03-17T11:26:31.899-05:002013-03-17T11:26:31.899-05:00Thanks for sharing all of the ups and downs of you...Thanks for sharing all of the ups and downs of your machine! I own the Pfaff Quilt Expression 2.0, and I love it. I haven't had any issues with FMQ, but I did have trouble chain piecing with it. It doesn't want to stitch onto the next piece without a lot of pushing and shoving from me. I heard that a straight stitch throat plate will solve my problem.
